Why I Am Feeling Lonely? The Answers You've Been Seeking!

Ever felt the urge to want a relationship so badly? Ever felt an emotional disconnect from people? Ever asked the question, Why am I feeling alone? Well, if you're reading this, you have experienced this universal phenomenon called "loneliness.".

Are you alone, or are you lonely?

why i am feeling lonely
Being alone and being lonely are not synonymous. Being alone is a choice, a moment where you enjoy solitude. Feeling lonely is an emotional state where you start distancing yourself from people, which leads to social isolation.

Imagine life as a grand theatre, filled with vibrant characters and colourful scenes. Loneliness, then, is like sitting in the front row of an empty auditorium, where the echoes of laughter and applause are distant memories, emphasising the void in the absence of companionship.

You have a choice to be lonely or embrace solitude.

I've got a friend, and we were both single, and we both desired a beautiful relationship. One day, it happened to me. I found the desired relationship. I started spending time with her, and on the other hand, loneliness had an impact on my friend. His mental and physical well-being was attacked. He went into isolation.

Now he had a choice to be more excited to meet a new member, learn about her, tell something interesting, but when loneliness hit him, he started feeling alone and thought no one cared for him. We always have a choice to enjoy the solitude or feel sad in isolation.
Ask yourself, Why I am feeling lonely? And feel free to write in the comments. Let's communicate.

Loneliness in the modern world.

The root of feeling alone and empty is not enjoying your own company. You can be busy the whole day, walk in crowded places, and still feel lonely from inside.
Everyone has a different reason to feel emotionally distant, but if you know the roots, you can heal that spot. In this modern society, nobody has time left to share with their loved ones. So first, you have to take care of yourself. How?

The answer you've been seeking. How do you cope with loneliness?

  • Take time for yourself: Being socially isolated or an introvert doesn't mean you should take time for yourself. For at least 30 minutes, get away from distractions and meditate on thoughts like, How am I feeling today? Why did I not go to the event? Is this relationship worth being in? When was the last time I prayed? Etc.
  • Find positivity in negative situations: Whenever negativity strikes your mind, think of something positive, as a positive thought can cope with 10 negative thoughts.
  • Exercise: It's a proven formula; you cannot improve your mental health just by sitting, as compared to walking. Always exercise; train your physical and mental bodies together.
  • Be creative: find a hobby that you like to do and do it; spend some time with your loved ones.

And at last, you got the answers to "why I am feeling lonely," and you also found the countermeasures to avoid loneliness. It's an emotional state that harms your mental health. So be strong physically and mentally; work on yourself. Do what you love, and do it with confidence. Build your self-esteem, and you will never feel lonely again.
